Our stylists cut for women, men, and kids, and finish with a blowout or iron work so you leave polished. Have a wedding or big event? What Happens Between the Chair and the Mirror?

  1. We talk first. We ask how you part your hair, what bugs you about it now, and how long you spend on it. Photos help. If a look won't sit right on your texture, we'll say so and offer one that will.
  2. Shampoo. Your hair is washed so we can see how it falls when it's clean and free of product.
  3. Cut wet, check dry. We set the shape wet, then look at it again once it's dry. Hair shrinks and moves differently dry, so this is where we refine weight and layers.
  4. Style it the way you will. A blowout, flat iron or curling iron finish, chosen to match the tools you own.
  5. Walk you through it. We point out the brush angle, where the product goes, and how much to use, so day two looks like day one.

How Do You Keep the Shape Between Visits?

Short cuts and bangs lose their line first, so they need us sooner. Longer layers can go longer between trims. Before you leave, we'll suggest a rebook window based on how fast your hair grows and how sharp you like it.

At home, use a heat protectant before any hot tool. Point the dryer nozzle down the hair, root to end, to keep it smooth. Match your shampoo to your hair type. For fine hair, Pure Abundance Volumizing Shampoo is a common pick. If a section starts doing something new, tell us at your next visit so we can adjust the cut.

Who Sets the Standard for Our Cuts?

Jen (Jennifer Petermann, our owner) is known for clean lines, finished styling and shapes that grow out well. She believes a haircut is only finished when you can do it yourself. Do you cut men's and children's hair?

Yes. We offer women's, men's, and children's haircuts. Kids are always welcome.

Do you do wedding and special-occasion hair?

We do. Book a formal style for the event, and we recommend a style trial beforehand so your look is dialed in.

How long does a blowout last?

With the right products, a blowout typically holds two to four days. We will show you how to extend it at home.

Should I come in with clean hair or styled hair?

Come in with your hair styled the way you wear it most days. That shows us your part, your texture and the habits we're cutting for. We shampoo before we cut, so there's no need to wash it first.

Can I book a styling appointment without a haircut?

Yes. Flat Iron Styling, Curl Styling and Formal Styling are on the menu as their own services. You'll find them all on our service menu, and you can book online.
