At Cut Above Salon, your time and ours both matter. This policy explains how we handle appointment cancellations, no-shows, service satisfaction, and retail product returns.
Appointment Cancellations
We reserve time especially for you, so we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This gives us the chance to offer your spot to another guest. You can reach us at (845) 342-4247 or bookme@cutabovebeauty.com.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require a deposit to book future services.
No-Shows
Guests who miss an appointment without notice may be asked to prepay or leave a deposit before scheduling again. We understand that life happens, so please just give us a call and we will do our best to work with you.
Deposits for Larger Services
Color corrections, extensions, and other longer appointments may require a deposit at booking. The deposit is applied to your service total on the day of your visit and is non-refundable for same-day cancellations or no-shows.
Service Satisfaction
We want you to love your hair. If something is not quite right with a service you received, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment and we will gladly schedule a complimentary adjustment with your stylist. Adjustments cover the original service requested and do not include a change of mind to a different style or color.
Retail Product Returns
We carry Aveda and other professional products we trust. Unopened retail products in their original packaging may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with your receipt. If you have a sensitivity or reaction to an Aveda product, bring it back and we will help you find a better fit under the Aveda satisfaction guarantee.
Gift cards, services already performed, and used styling tools are non-refundable.
